Of all the cultural influences that shaped the national identity of Lebanon, the French one is estimated the most important. Even more, the Lebanese people is convinced to have a personal and historical if not passionate relation with France. Some see in it "the mother of Lebanon"!

Moreover, all that is French is present on daily basis in every chapter of the Lebanese life: in public administrations, in schools, in the Medias, even in the common dialogue.
